Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 11, 2026

This policy explains what information SunriseFilings LLC ("SunriseFilings", "we", "us") collects, how we use it and the choices you have. It covers two groups of people: our customers, who use our website and subscribe to our lists, and the businesses and people listed in our data, whose information comes from public records.

Part A — Businesses and people in our data

Where the information comes from

We obtain our data from the official public filings of the Florida Department of State, Division of Corporations, which the State makes available to anyone under Florida's public records law (Chapter 119, Florida Statutes). We are not affiliated with the State of Florida.

What we include

We do not include telephone numbers, email addresses, Social Security numbers, financial account information, or sensitive personal data such as health information, race, religion or precise geolocation. We do not sell sensitive personal data.

How it is used and who receives it

We license the data to business customers, such as commercial insurance agents, who use it to offer products and services to new businesses. Our customers must use the data only for lawful business-to-business purposes and may not use it as a consumer report (for decisions about credit, personal insurance, employment or housing).

Removal (opt-out)

If your business or your name appears in our data and you do not want it included, you can ask us to remove it using our removal form or by emailing privacy@sunrisefilings.com. We will process your request within 10 business days, exclude the record from future deliveries, keep it on a permanent suppression list so it is not added again, and ask our customers to delete it. If your business address is your home, you can also ask us to remove only the address. Removal from our service does not change the State of Florida's public records.

Part B — Our customers and website visitors

What we collect

How we use it

To provide and bill the Service, send your daily lists and account messages, answer support requests, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with the law and improve the Service. We send marketing emails only with an unsubscribe link in every message.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to run the website and keep you signed in, and may use basic privacy-friendly analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or sell customer information.

Part C — For everyone

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run the Service, such as website hosting, email delivery, payment processing and artificial intelligence processing (business names may be processed by an AI provider to classify industries). They may use the information only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of our business.

Retention and security

We keep customer information while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax and accounting purposes. We keep suppression records permanently so that removal requests stay respected. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, but no system is completely secure.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or opt out of certain uses of your personal information. To make a request, contact us at the address below. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect children's information.

Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new date at the top. If a change is material, we will notify customers by email.
